As devastating as Chris's brain injury has been, this life changing event has created some wonderful opportunities in our life. Since our move to the Southwest from New Jersey, we have become involved with the Brain Injury Association of Arizona (BIAAZ) and facilitate a brain injury support group for survivors and caregivers.
Although Chris is unable to return to his career path as it was before his brain injury, we are blessed to be able to share our experiences as a brain injury survivor and caregiver through public speaking engagements. We hope that sharing our journey with others will inspire perseverance, instill hope, and enable those who have experienced traumatic life changing events to believe in the power of the human spirit and the "Miracle of Love".
